For the past 7 years, The KKAC Organization has conducted outreach across the Southeast portion of the country, educating farmers and landowners in need on helpful resources available to them through the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).
Join The KKAC Organization for an important conversation about USDA discrimination and the policy challenges that continue to affect farmers and landowners across the country.
‘Fairness in Farming’ brings together experienced farmers, former USDA leaders, community advocates, and award-winning actor Glynn Turman to share real stories, practical solutions, and paths forward to protect land, build generational wealth, and strengthen fair agricultural practices.
The film, executive produced by Al Roker, documents the causes, effects, and solutions to the issue of dwindling ownership of farmland by African Americans. The film screening will take place at 4:45 p.m. at the S.J. Parker 1890 Extension Complex auditorium, located at 2300 L.A. “Prexy” Davis Drive. The public is invited to attend and view this important film.
